Из историята на относителното подчинение в белоруски и български

The article deals with relative clause subordination in Byelorussian and Bulgarian. Irrespective of the fact that relative subordination in these two languages is characterized by the existence of well-defined types of connections, the detailed contrastive analysis can contribute to the elucidation of some problems of the general Slavic tendencies. These tendencies show different intensity in different areas and, in spite of the individual peculiarities of the processes, lead ultimately to similar results. In this connection it is relevant to quote N. van Wijk’s words: „chaque langue détachée du tronc slave a transformé à sa façon le patrimoine commun“.
