Виолета Дечева

Проф. д.и.н. Виолета Дечева работи в Института по изкуствознание към Българската академия на науките, а така също е хонорувана преподавателка в Софийския университет „Св. Климент Охридски” и Нов български университет. Авторка е на четири монографии и редица статии и студии, посветени на историята и съвременното състояние на българската и европейската театрална култура. Дългогодишна сътрудничка на в. „Култура”.

Violeta Detcheva, Prof. Dr. is Permanent Senior Fellow at Institute of Art Studies (IAS) at the Bulgarian Academy of Sciences and Guest-Professor at Sofia University “St. Kl.Ohridski” and New Bulgarian University. She is author of “Towards the Problem of directing: Bulgarian Theatre of the 20^thc. between wars” (2006), “The Actor as Author and as Work of Art” (2003), “The Dramaturgy of Friedrich Durrenmatt and its Stage Interpretations in Bulgaria” (2002), “The Theatre of the 90” (2001), “The Bulgarian Encyclopedia of the Theatre” (with other authors of IAS, 2005, 2008), “History of Bulgarian Theater between wars” (with other authors of IAS, 2011) and numerous publications in Bulgaria, Germany, Poland, France, Italy, USA etc. Numerous Individual Researches at FU-Berlin (Germany), Universitaet-Wien (Austria), Central European University –Budapest (Hingary), Centre for Advanced Study-Sofia (CAS-Sofia),etc. Member of the International Federation for Theatre Research (IFTR) and the International Association of Theatre Critics-IATC etc. Her interests are in the field of Culture- and Theater-history of 20. Century and of Contemporary Drama and Theater . Theater-observer of Kultura weekly.
