The highest frequency of this derivational pattern was found in Czech, Slovak, Slovene and partly in Serbo-Croatian. In Russian, on the other hand, the pattern is only colloquial. Bulgarian and Polish are borderline cases. The reasons for the difference in the range of the phenomenon are of an internal-systematic nature and could be clarified in a more thorough investigation. %B Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics %V 14 %P 5–11 %G bul %N 2 %0 Journal Article %J Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics %D 1989 %T Х международен конгрес на славистите (София, 14–22.IX.1988) %A Трифонова, Йорданка %A Гешев, Валентин %A Ангелова, Искра %A Бояджиева, Елисавета %A Милева, Виолета %A Малджиева, Вяра %A Виларова, Маргарита %A Михалик, Ришард %K Events %K Хроника %B Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics %V 14 %P 113–128 %G bul %N 4 %0 Journal Article %J Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics %D 1988 %T Някои основни типологични сходства между съвременния словашки и съвременния български език %A Милева, Виолета %X This article presents a pioneer study of some elements of Slovak and Bulgarian belonging to various levels in the linguistic structure. Although these are similar in form and meaning in both languages, they differ substantially from the corresponding elements in Czech. The paper claims that some word-formative and lexical elements merit special attention since they show the similarities between Slovak and some Bulgarian dialects, i. e. West Bulgarian and Rupian dialects as the initial study indicates. The paper points to the possibilities for new findings and provides some considerations on the problem of South Slavic elements in the Slovak language as well as the relationships between the Slavic languages in general. %B Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics %V 13 %P 69–72 %G bul %N 4–5 %0 Journal Article %J Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics %D 1980 %T Характерна модална експресивност на императива от свършен вид с отрицание в полския език в съпоставка с българския книжовен език %A Милева, Виолета %X An essential difference between Polish as a West Slavic language and Bulgarian as South Slavic is pointed out. In Polish the negative perfective imperative is actually a specific syntactic mood, the cautioning mood (Nie wylej tei wody!). Such a form of the imperative is impossible in modern standard Bulgarian (cf. Да не излееш водата!). The explanation of the expressiveness of this construction is to be sought in the aspectual semantic features of the verbal forms in the light of some of the latest studies of the category of aspect. %B Съпоставително езикознание / Сопоставительное языкознание / Contrastive linguistics %V 5 %P 49–52 %G bul %N 5
